Drive, San Diego. Recent news has reported on the U.S. Surgeon General's advisory that an increase in loneliness across the country is leading to an epidemic. Not only does a lack of

social connection lead to sadness, but it also contributes to poor health outcomes, such as a higher risk for heart disease, stroke, and dementia. It's happening to people from all

walks of life, including Veterans from all service eras. Welcome to "Connect the Vets," a forum with space for Veterans to connect, socialize, and support each other. We want to

help you meet fellow Veterans to discuss shared experiences, build new life covenants, and reduce feelings of isolation and loneliness. Enjoy a cup of coffee and a small assortment of

snacks. Veteran Employees will serve as hosts on a rotating basis. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn about VA programs, services, and resources like the PACT Act, Whole Health,
