Rishi Sunak’s first hundred days as Prime Minister have been dogged by a festering swamp of Tory sleaze scandals and staggering failure on the economy. During a week in which the Prime

Minister has been forced to sack Nadhim Zahawi over his tax affairs, the IMF forecast the UK will be the only major economy in the world to shrink in 2023, and Bloomberg analysis found

Brexit is costing the UK £100billion a year. The Prime Ministers chaotic and scandal-ridden time in government is yet more proof that Westminster is incapable of delivering the change that

Scotland needs. Already he’s pilling up a dossier of scandals: * OCTOBER – Reappointing Suella Braverman as Home Secretary, just six days after she was sacked from the position for breaching

the ministerial code. * NOVEMBER – Being forced to accept Gavin Williamson’s resignation, after appointing him Minister of State without Portfolio despite existing complaints. * DECEMBER –

Being forced to expand investigations against Dominic Raab. * JANUARY– Being forced to sack Nadhim Zahawi over serious breaches of the ministerial code, and being too weak to take action

against Boris Johnson, despite concerns over his financial arrangements and appointments as Prime Minister. Just this week we saw new analysis by the International Monetary Fund (IMF)

showing the UK economy is set to shrink by 0.6% in 2023, whereas other European nations are set to grow, with Germany growing by 0.1% and France 0.7%. > 👇 IMF forecasts that the UK is the

(@theSNP) January 31, 2023 Every developed country is set to grow this year, but the difference being that none of those countries have inflicted the economic self-harm of Brexit on

themselves and Scotland has had to suffer the consequences despite overwhelmingly rejecting leaving the EU. Even Russia, which is being rightly heavily-sanctioned for its invasion of

Ukraine, is predicted to grow its economy this year. That is just how far broken Brexit Britain has fallen, and it is only going to get worse because of the economic incompetence of this UK

government. And there would be no respite for Scotland under a pro-Brexit Labour government either as it would still keep Scotland outside the European Union, a market seven times the size

of the UK.
