DENISA MARIA ADAS' BODY WAS FOUND HIDDEN AMONG BRAMBLES NEAR AN ABANDONED FARMHOUSE, WITH HER BURNED HEAD DISCOVERED IN A FIELD SEVERAL MILES AWAY 13:57, 05 Jun 2025 A woman who

vanished days after telling a friend she feared for her life has been found decapitated. Denisa Maria Adas' body was found hidden among brambles near an abandoned farmhouse just after

11am yesterday, with her burned head discovered in a field several miles away. The 30-year-old woman, who worked as an escort, last made a call to her mum at around 11pm on Friday, May 16.

Her mum told police her daughter "seemed calm" on the call, but a short while later, her two mobile phones were switched off. Local media reportes that a few days before her

disappearance, she had told a friend: "I'm afraid I'm going to be killed." A married father-of-two - Vasile Frumuzache - a security guard who had a relationship with

Denisa has been charged with her murder and concealment of a corpse. He has reportedly confessed to the crime, allegedly telling officers: "She was blackmailing me. That's why I

killed her." He told police she had threatened to tell his wife unless he gave her 10,000 euros - about £8,400. Article continues below The grim find was made in a rural part of

Montecatini Terme, near Florence, Italy, about a half-hour drive from Denisa's last known location in Prato. Detectives have said they have pieced together a chilling timeline. At

10.50pm on Thursday, May 15, Frumuzache entered the property where Adas was staying, carrying a holdall. Shortly after 1am, he was seen leaving with her suitcase, which she had brought along

with her from her home in Rome. It is believed her body was inside. Using GPS data from a tracker fitted to his car for insurance purposes, detectives traced his journey to the spot where

the body was found. The head was only found after Frumuzache revealed its whereabouts during questioning. Article continues below Denisa is believed to have been suffocated, but a

post-mortem is expected to confirm the exact cause of death.
