Learn more Tickets for BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend are still available for last minute purchases. The music festival will take over Sefton Park from Friday, May 23 until Sunday, May 25.
At the time of writing, an unknown quantity of tickets are available for Friday's show. Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday gigs remain sold out. Acts taking to the Radio 1 Main Stage
on Friday include The Wombats, Natasha Bedingfield, James Hype, Biffy Clyro and Tom Grennan. Dozens more will perform across the park on the New Music, Dance and Introducing stages. A
general admission ticket costs £33 (plus a £4.50 booking fee per ticket). You can purchase a maximum of six tickets for a single day, but not for multiple days. You can purchase tickets

performing across the bank holiday weekend include Sam Fender, Mumford & Sons, Tate McRae, Sugababes, Haim, JADE, AJ Tracey, Myles Smith, Wet Leg, Blossoms, Lola Young and many more.
Festival organisers have already started major preparations. Boards are already in place around the park sectioning off the festival site and you can also see the stages being built in the
park, as well as a huge Ferris wheel. Photos taken by the ECHO offered a sneak peek into what Radio 1’s Big Weekend in the city is going to look like as work continues. BBC Radio 1 issued an
important travel message to festival goers ahead of the Big Weekend. It read: "The Event Organiser has been in touch and has asked us to pass on the following information: It’s only
two weeks until some of the biggest artists in the world head to Sefton Park for Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Liverpool and it's time for you to plan your journey! "There is no parking
for ticketholders at the event site, there will be numerous road closures in and around the park with access restricted to residents and businesses only. Article continues below "We
