NCIS season 16 saw Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) list of his list of rules he lives by once again. Thanks to the storyline which saw Ziva David’s (played by Cote de Pablo) involvement in a

case stump Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and co, Gibbs recited his infamous rules to his colleagues. In episode 13 of the CBS and FOX, entitled She, the team found a nine-year-old held in a storage

unit only to discover it related back to a case Ziva worked on before her death. This prompted Gibbs to reel off the 10th rule he lives by to his team and fans were left wondering what are

connection to a new case. NCIS viewers witnessed Bishop and Torres find a terrified nine-year-old held in captivity in an abandoned storage unit. Bishop soon finds out the child is that of

Morgan Burke, a former Naval employee who disappeared some years before and was believed to have died. Her death was put down to suicide after remains were discovered in her car which had

been driven off a cliff. IS DUCKY LEAVING NCIS? However, Ziva David had continued to investigate Morgan’s disappearance years afterwards. Nick and Ellie didn’t tell Gibbs about the newfound

information on Ziva straight away in episode 13 but instead find out where her private offices were. Once there. Ellie discovers Ziva’s files regarding the Morgan Burke case and decides it’s

time to inform Gibbs with what she’s been up to. Gibbs arrives at the offices with Torres and McGee (Sean Murray) in tow – he then drops the bombshell that he was aware Ziva had continued

to investigate the case prior to her death. It’s at this point Gibbs feels the need to remind Ellie of rule 10, in the hopes it will deter her from becoming overly invested in the new case.

abides by in the past. Whether Harmon's character will reveal any more in the next NCIS episode, titled Once Upon A Time, is yet to be seen. Gibbs has two number one rules, presumably

due to their paramount importance. The first rule number one was revealed in the very first episode of season one and is: “Never let suspects stay together.” Gibbs’ second number one rule

is: “Never screw over your partner.” – he says this in a number of episodes but introduced it in season four, episode 14, Blowback. WHERE IS NCIS SEASON 16 FILMED? Harmon’s character also

season 16, episode seven, A Thousand Words. Gibbs told his fellow NCIS colleagues his 73rd rule which is: “Never meet your heroes.” The NCIS fan favourite also has several unnumbered rules

which he’s mentioned throughout the series, but fans are yet to know where they fall in his list of rules. These unnumbered rules include: “Never date a woman that eats more than you do,”
