Ed Sheeran, 29, was born in Halifax on February 17, 1991 and was raised in Suffolk by his father who is an art curator and his mum who is a jewellery designer. Ed began singing at a local

church choir at the age of four, learned how to play guitar at the age of 11 and began songwriting while studying at Thomas Mills High School. He also studied at Rishwith School, a private

school charging around £10,350 a term to study there. He then went onto release two albums over the course of the next three years and after gaining a small following, Ed began performing at

have spent a whopping £42million on property. Ed is now married to his wife Cherry Seaborn and the couple welcomed their daughter Lyra today.
