as a left-back during Lewis Hall's injury woes. But England boss Thomas Tuchel has explained why the utility man won't face Senegal at the City Ground or be on the flight for the

World Cup qualifier to Barcelona. Tuchel has indicated that Livramento will be needed to play for the England Under-21s at June's European Championships in Slovakia as Lee

Carsley's side face the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Germany in June ahead of the tournament's group stages. Tuchel, who also left out Jacob Murphy from his latest squad, said:

"Together with Tino Livramento, Jarell Quansah, Elliott Anderson and Liam Delap - all names who could play a role for us but a major tournament comes up for the Under-21s and the

intention is they play a big part in this tournament. "I like it a lot that they have chances to be leaders in this group, to be players we hopefully will rely on. We will monitor them

closely but we decided that with these players they take the responsibility for the Under-21s." Two Newcastle stars did get the nod for the June internationals with Blyth lad Dan Burn

and Toon forward Anthony Gordon both set to be involved. Burn will get the chance to add to his first cap, picked up against Albania at Wembley back in March, while Gordon is aiming for his
