CEO of Charlotte Area Fund, a nonprofit that helps people below the federal poverty guidelines regarding upward mobility. Wharton has led premiere access and equity change initiatives in

juvenile justice, public and private educational systems, and the corporate sector. He also serves as chair for North Carolina Council of Executive Directors Community Action Agencies,

independent director for Mid Atlantic Regional Board of Directors for Fifth Third Bank, co-chairman of Women's Intercultural exchange Champions for Diverse Male Auxiliary and serves on

WFAE board as the vice-chair of Board of Directors and co-chairman Race and Equity committee. . CURTIS HAYES JR. is a community activist and owns World Class Property Maintenance LLC. He

gained media attention after his powerful speech during a peaceful George Floyd protest in May 2020. GREG JACKSON, is the founder and executive director of Heal Charlotte. Greg has helped

train officers to communicate with the community in volatile situations. He also created an after-school camp for at-risk youth in his northeast Charlotte neighborhood of Orchard Trace

Condominiums. He deployed efforts that focused on revitalizing the area with a holistic approach to the family unit.
