be "lucky" to get him in the door, such are the current circumstances. "I think Nathan Jones is a very, very ambitious, enthusiastic coach who has just worked unbelievably

hard to get Charlton Athletic back into the Championship," Goodman told Football League World. "Would he leave that scenario for Cardiff City, being a Cardiff City fan? You would

think if he was not a Cardiff City fan it would not even be a question, really. "He has got to look at the ownership and how that club is being run. There is a lack of stability. It is

a very, very difficult question, but I think Cardiff City would be lucky to get Nathan Jones. "I am not sure that he would view this Cardiff City, currently, as a project he could

Meanwhile, the BBC report former Hull City boss Ruben Selles has ruled himself out of the running for the job. Selles was linked with the Cardiff hotseat before Erol Bulut's appointment

and came back into the bookmakers' reckoning after he left the Tigers earlier this month. However, it's understood he wanted to stay in the second tier and the BBC have now added

to that train of thought by reporting the Spanish manager has taken himself out of contention. The likes of Ian Evatt, Rob Edwards, Brian Barry-Murphy and Des Buckingham remain in the

Cardiff conversation. CARDIFF CANDIDATES IN PLYMOUTH RUNNING With Plymouth Argyle also on the hunt for a new boss, following Miron Muslic's departure for Schalke, a number of candidates
