of two babies who were found dead at a property. He has also been acquitted of preventing their lawful burials after no evidence was offered against him. The bodies of two babies were


discovered at an address in Wildmill, Bridgend in November 2022. Egle Zilinskaite, 31, and Zilvinas Ledovskis, 50, were arrested in connection with the discovery of the children who were


found in the attic of the property. Each faced two counts of concealing the birth of a child. The defendants also faced two counts of preventing the lawful and decent burial of a dead body.


Zilinskaite pleaded guilty to all four charges in respect of both babies at a court hearing last year. _F__or the latest court reports sign up to our crime newsletter_. The babies were

previously heard Mr Ledovskis and Zilinskaite were formerly partners. Mr Ledovskis pleaded not guilty to all four charges and was due to face trial in July. But at a mention hearing at


Cardiff Crown Court on Tuesday, prosecutor James Wilson said the Crown would not be offering any evidence. As a result Mr Ledovskis, of Phoebe Road, Swansea, was found not guilty of all four
