Dr. Daniel S. Blumenthal is remembered for his commitment to bringing quality health care to underserved areas of Atlanta. The founding chair of the Department of Community Health and


Preventative Medicine at the Morehouse School of Medicine passed away this year at the age of 77-years old. This weekend, there will be a memorial service in his honor at the Morehouse


School of Medicine. His colleagues, Dr. Elizabeth Ofili, Professor of Medicine at Morehouse School of  Medicine and Chief Medical Officer Morehouse Choice Accountable Care Organization; Dr.


Beverly Taylor, Chair of the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine; and Dr. Tabia Henry Akintobi, Professor and  Associate Dean of Community Health and Preventive Medicine;
