CLARKSVILLE , TN — In honor of the one-year anniversary of the PACT Act, Clarksville Veterans and service members are invited to the Clarksville VA PACT Act Summer VetFest August 10 from 2 –

6 p.m. at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center located at 8 Champions Way. Veterans will be able to enroll in VA health care, file a disability claim, and get screened for toxic exposures. Both

Veterans and service members will have an opportunity to engage with VA programs and hear from VA, Montgomery County, and Blanchfield Army Community Hospital leaders starting at 4 p.m. The

event is a walk-in event, so registration is not required. There will also be local food trucks and live music throughout the afternoon. Veterans are strongly encouraged to carpool and

follow traffic signs as parking is limited. Veterans enrolling in VA or filing a disability claim are encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214. For more information and details, visit the

TVHS website. The PACT Act is a new law that expands health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxic substances. Since the passing of the law on Aug. 10, 2022, VA

Tennessee Valley Healthcare System has screened more than 63,400 Veterans for toxic exposures, and 28,582 have reported at least one exposure. VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System is an
