The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now recommends booster shots for everyone ages 18 years and older for Moderna and J&J vaccines, and everyone 12 years and older for the
Pfizer vaccine. For those who received the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, you must have received your second dose at least five months ago. If you received the J&J vaccine, you must have
received your original doze at least two months ago to receive a booster. CDC’s recommendations now allow for this type of mix and match dosing for booster shots. Moderna and Johnson &
Johnson boosters are available on a walk-in basis to Veterans 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the BLUE CLINIC (PRIMARY CARE) at the main medical center. We still encourage
