TO CALL? Here are the steps to take to when you have non-life threatening, same-day needs: * If you have a non-life-threatening illness or injury for which you’d like to be seen, please call

your local VA at (260) 426-5431 and press 3 to be transferred to a triage nurse in our Clinical Contact Center. * Review your symptoms/situation with the nurse. * The nurse will then

recommend care options that are best for you. NON-VA EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT If you do go to a non-VA Emergency Department, please notify the non-VA ER check-in clerk that you are a Veteran
