Children in need will have a happier Christmas thanks to the generosity of Supply Chain Management employees at the Milwaukee VA Medical Center. The employees purchased thousands of dollars’

worth of toys for Children’s Wisconsin’s Child Wellbeing 2022 Holiday Drive. “This is near and dear to our hearts,” said Stacey Pasbrig, co-chairwoman of the annual event along with

Michelle Pruitt. “We look to do this every year.” The gifts will go to children typically involved in foster care, child and family counseling, child abuse prevention programs and special

needs adoptions. The drive is similar to a traditional giving tree: Children’s provides names and ages of the children, along with a short list of items they desire. Employees then choose a

child (or children) and purchase the gifts. Pasbrig said some employees were aided by Children’s when they were kids, so they go out of their way to help. “Some grab up to 10 names … and buy

everything on the list,” she said. This is the sixth year for the outreach, which continues to grow, Pasbrig said. “This is a big deal for us, and Children’s loves what we do,” she said.
