was named Associate Director for Patient Care Services / Nurse Executive, at the Lexington VA Health Care System on August 11, 2022. Ms. Drumm has more than 36 years of nursing experience,
beginning her career in surgical and telemetry care. She later moved to critical care where she spent 17 years. She held various positions at the University of Kentucky, College of Nursing
before coming to the Lexington VA in October 2011as the Critical Care Clinical Expert. She’s held several more positions with VA before becoming the Chief Nurse of Acute Care in 2017. Ms.
Drumm has a wealth of nursing knowledge and often receives awards – she is a favorite among both nursing students and Veterans for the time and attention she gives. Ms. Drumm has Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Kentucky. Ms. Drumm holds Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
Certifications and is an ACLS-certified instructor. She has been published twice, once in MedSurg Nurse and once in Critical Care Nurse. Ms. Drumm and her husband Joe live on their
working-family farm in Paris, Kentucky raising registered Hereford cattle. She has two grown children, Travis and Rachael, who help operate the farm in addition to their own pursuits.
Jennifer loves outdoor activities and spending time with her family working on their farm.
