Safe care is our mission. Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical Center offers the COVID-19 vaccine to ALL Veterans, Veteran spouses, caregivers of Veterans, and CHAMPVA recipients at

no cost. You can order 4 free at-⁠home COVID-⁠19 tests at COVIDtests.gov, or by calling 1-800-232-0233 (TTY 1-888-720-7489). Order tests now so you have them when you need them. Learn more

about COVID-19 testing at VA. HWW VAMC does NOT provide the results of the free-at-home tests. Our COVID-19 vaccination location is at the BLUE TEAM - Primary Care area, (First Floor West),

M-F, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., excluding holidays. No appointment needed for the vaccine or flu shot. We offer the Moderna and Janssen (J&J) vaccines. First regimen and boosters are available.

The shots are available to Veterans, spouses and caregivers of Veterans. In keeping with CDC guidance, please continue to wear a mask while in Hershel "Woody" Williams VA Medical

Center or our Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC), until further notice. Thank you for understanding, as we continue to protect our nation's heroes. If you don't normally

receive care here, we encourage you to pre-register online at least 1 hour before you come to HWW VAMC to save time when you arrive.  https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine/ If

eligible, you can also receive a booster outside of VA. You can locate a vaccine site at https://www.vaccines.gov/search/. Make sure to take your CDC COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card when

you go. Flu shots will also be available at the same time.
