Care System. He was appointed Hampton VA Healthcare System Associate Director for Operations, June 6, 2021. Mr. Harper previously served in Fayetteville North Carolina VA Coastal Healthcare

System as the Assistant Medical Center Director in January 2019. Prior to joining the Fayetteville North Carolina VA Coastal Healthcare System, he spent 10 years at the Memphis VA Medical

Center, in Memphis, Tennessee. He has extensive leadership experience in healthcare operations within VHA serving in such roles as: Chief of Business Office, Executive Assistant to the

Medical Center Director, Administrative Officer for Ambulatory Care, Acting Group Practice Manager, and Acting Chief of Customer Service.  Mr. Harper is a native Memphian. Prior to joining

the VA, he served as Chairman of the Allied Health Programs at Remington College in Memphis Tennessee. Mr. Harper holds an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from the University of

Phoenix, a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Crichton College, a Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Master’s Degree in Business

Administration from Christian Brothers University.
