proudly announces its achievement of a prestigious 4-star rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), a recognition that underscores the system's unwavering

commitment to providing exceptional care to our nation’s Veterans. “The CMS 4-star rating truly reflects the dedication and care our team invests in serving Veterans every day," said

measures including mortality and readmission rates, emergency department treatment, and overall value of care.  A 4-star rating is awarded to hospitals that exceed national averages on key

metrics, reflecting Hampton VA Health Care System’s consistently high performance throughout the year. Within a 25-mile radius of the central Hampton Roads area, only six healthcare

organizations achieved an overall rating of 4 stars or higher, with four excelling in the patient survey category—Hampton VA Health Care System being one of them. How Do the Star Ratings
