The Dayton VA Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Specialty Clinic is here to serve Veterans who have a substance use disorder or are experiencing negative consequences related to their alcohol and
other substance use. A variety of levels of care are offered including residential, intensive outpatient, standard outpatient, aftercare, and maintenance groups. Veterans may connect to
care on a walk-in basis, Building 302 on the Dayton VA Medical Center campus, by referral from their VA Primary Care physician or by calling 937-268-6511, ext. 2188, requesting to speak
with someone about a SUD referral. Services available to Veterans include: * Alcohol and drug evaluations * Alcohol and drug group and individual therapy * Medications to assist with alcohol
cravings * Medications to address opioid use disorder * Medications to help reduce the potential for overdose * Ambulatory detoxification * Contingency Management Program for Veterans with
a stimulant use disorder * Tobacco cessation treatment * Gambling addiction treatment * Anger management for Veterans with a substance use disorder * Veteran-only 12 Step Groups in Building
302, Dayton VA Medical Center. Meetings are on Mondays at 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. You do not need to be engaged with Mental Health to attend. No appointment is required. * Sober
