partnering with Alderman Raymond Lopez (15th) for the inaugural Veterans Information Week May 8th thru May 12th. Veterans Information Week kicks off Monday, May 8th, with a tour of the Jesse

Brown VA Medical Center located at 820 South Damen Avenue. Jesse Brown is home to some of the newest and most cutting-edge services available to veterans, including Telehealth, Transition

Care Management, and Women’s Health Programs. Veterans Information Week will share information on benefits, enrollment, and the PACT Act legislation that Congress recently passed. The PACT

Act is a new law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other Toxic substances. Information will be provided about the Minority

Veterans Program. The Minority Veteran Program (MVP) implements VA’s commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity, and access for all veterans. The Minority Veteran Program assists in

identifying gaps in service delivery through outreach, advocacy, and community collaboration. MVP is focusing on understanding psychosocial barriers and cultural nuances in historically
