Flormarí Maldonado is a seasoned healthcare systems professional with extensive experience in operations management and systems implementation. With a Master’s in Health Services

Administration and a strong foundation in business administration, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities across her career. Maldonado has a proven

track record of driving measurable improvements in healthcare settings, having successfully led over 30 multidisciplinary teams to improve both inpatient and outpatient operations. Her

expertise spans data analytics, financial and business planning, and policy development, making her a key player in aligning organizational processes with information systems to achieve

sustainable outcomes. Currently serving as the Lead Health System Specialist for the Mid-South Veteran Integrated Service Network (VISN 9), Maldonado has also spearheaded innovative projects

such as the development of a published directive compliance tracking tool using PowerBI, the streamlining of onboarding processes, and the implementation of document routing software to

increase operational efficiency. Additionally, Maldonado played a crucial role in VISN 9 COVID-19 emergency operations and the successful execution of the VHA MISSION Act, further showcasing

her leadership and operational expertise.
