On May 20, 2025, the Butler VA Health Care System held its 15th Centenarian Recognition Award Event for WWII Veteran Stanley Lantz.

The Butler VA’s Veterans Justice Outreach (VJO) program collaborated with VA Police and the Butler County Sheriff’s Office to establish a Veterans Response Team (VRT) in November. Butler is

the second county in the state of Pennsylvania to establish a VRT!

Located at the main facility in Butler, Pennsylvania is the Virtual Health Resource Center (VHRC).

2 local Veterans have been named first-place winners in the 2024 National Veterans Creative Arts Competition, Art Division.

Butler VA Chaplains provide compassionate religious care by walking with Veterans, their family members and staff, in accordance with their needs, beliefs, and desires.

This August, the Butler VA held a special recognition event for Purple Heart Veterans at the Micheal A. Marzano (Mercer County) VA Clinic.

August is National Psoriasis Awareness Month. This annual observance seeks to generate support in research efforts to develop new treatments and increase understanding to help diminish the

stigma that is often associated with the disease.

Help spread the word about sarcoma cancers and the importance of early detection and treatment.
