The Guntersville VA Clinic turned into a place of celebration on December 20, 2024, as staff, family, and friends gathered to honor John Stowe, a Veteran who is reaching a remarkable

milestone of 100 years.

For nearly 20 years, the American Legion has brightened the holidays for Veterans at the Birmingham VA Health Care System with its annual Christmas Caravan.

Team members from Coca-Cola Bottling Company United and Cheeriodicals delivered “big green bags of cheer” to Veterans at the Birmingham VA Health Care System.

The Birmingham VA Headache Center of Excellence (HCoE) has recently been designated as a “Hub” which is the highest level in the national HCoE program. The Birmingham program will receive an

annual budget of $1.1 million to provide headache management to Veterans in the Southeast.

As September came to a close, the Birmingham VA Health Care System reflected on what had been an incredibly meaningful month at the Birmingham VA.
