The psychology internship training program at the Birmingham VA Healthcare System is an APA-accredited program that offers pre-doctoral internship training to U.S. citizens who are pursuing
a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution. PSYCHOLOGY INTERNSHIP: Birmingham VAHCS is thrilled to share that we have now received
accreditation on contingency from APA! Our independent accreditation is effective January 26, 2024, and the UAB-BVAMC Psychology Internship Consortium has dissolved, effective August 2024.
Birmingham VA is offering 4 internship positions for the 2025-2026 training year. Applications are due November 1, 2024, and virtual interview days will be held December 9, 2024 and January
