A bus struck and seriously injured a pedestrian at a Core-Columbia intersection Monday, authorities reported. The woman was crossing the 1300 block of Front Street in a crosswalk when the


Metropolitan Transit System vehicle hit her shortly before 7:30 a.m., according to San Diego police. Medics took her to a hospital for treatment of a brain hemorrhage. She was expected to


survive, Officer Dan Lasher said. _–City News Service_
