Claire Tyrrell, AAPThe West Australian A Maserati was destroyed after it torched on Safety Bay Road in Baldivis this morning. The burning car, which police say was stolen from a Forrestfield


home on Friday, was reported just after 6am. A police spokeswoman said the keys had been stolen from the 56-year-old male owner’s kitchen bench. The vehicle was a black 2004 Maserati.


Police are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious around the scene of the burglary or car fire to contact Crime Stoppers. Department of Fire and Emergency Services and police attended.
