Callum Davis 10 August 2017 10:38am BST Gary Neville has questioned Danny Rose's decision to criticise Tottenham's transfer policy in a controversial interview with The Sun
newspaper. In a wide-ranging interview, Tottenham defender Danny Rose said he would consider offers to leave the club, believing he is in line for one more 'big contract' before
the end of his career. Rose, who was born in Yorkshire, has been linked with summer moves to Manchester United and Chelsea. The former Leeds United defender signed a new five-year deal with
Tottenham in September 2016. "I am reaching my peak and have probably only got one big contract left in me," the England defender told the Sun. "Time is running out and I do
want to win trophies. I don't want to play football for 15 years and not have one trophy or one medal." Neville, who worked with Rose as part of Roy Hodgson's England coaching
staff, was left flabbergasted by the left back's decision to talk so candidly about his future. > WTF is Danny Rose thinking!! > — Gary Neville (@GNev2) 10 August 2017 >

stuck to dealing with it in a professional manner," Neville added. Former Tottenham chairman Sir Alan Sugar called Rose's interview 'disgusting'. > Disgusting article
by Danny Rose @TheSun . Unprofessional and > totally ungrateful . It's demoralising and disappointing. Chuck him > out > — Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) 10 August 2017 Rose also
revealed he wants to "play up north" before the end of his career. "I will say this too, I will play up north. I don't know exactly when but I will get back up north and
play some football somewhere. I have been away for over 10 years now and I don't get to see my mum that often. "I'm not saying I want out, but if something came to me that was
concrete, I'd have no qualms about voicing my opinions to anyone at the club." Rose also said he hopes Spurs make a couple of signings - "not players you have to Google and
say, 'Who's that?' I mean well-known players" - and called Walker's departure "a big blow". The 27-year-old has not played since January due to an ankle
injury and is not expected to feature for Spurs until the end of August. * _Danny Rose is valued at £4.1m in Telegraph Fantasy Football, but is he good enough to make your team? - pick a
