Joy's tea time at Hôtel Fouquet's Paris

If you're a pastry lover, you're in for a treat with tea time at the Joy restaurant in theBarrière Le Fouquet's Paris hotel. For a perfect moment in a refined and cosy setting, you're

invited to take a seat at Le Joy. Indoor or outdoor, the choice is yours, but note that this Christmas, the venue unveils a magical winter terrace that's sure to put glitter in your eyes.

A divine Afternoon Tea in an enchanting setting and even in the heart of a magical illuminated garden in the peace and quiet, what more could you ask for?

At theHôtel Fouquet's, it's tea time rather than a snack that awaits us, with savory items on the one hand, and sweet pastries on the other, to delight the sweet tooths and gourmands that we

are. Expect to pay €60 for tea time with a hot drink, or €75 with a glass of champagne.

This tea time is served in several parts, like a gourmet menu in a restaurant. For our part, we opt for the unctuous and generous hot chocolate served with homemade marshmallows.

We start with a trio of savoury sandwiches consisting of a mini salmon baguette, a vegetarian cucumber tzatziki shuttle and a crab shuttle.

We then move on to a pre-dessert with quince and trompe l'oeil roasted vanilla, reminiscent of an oeuf cocotte.

We continue with a fresh pavlova with coconut and grapefruit. The freshness of this product is enhanced by its lightly sweetened sorbet. This is followed by a small pear and hazelnut pastry,

both melting and crunchy.

The gourmet discovery then unveils a beautiful, super-soft Christmas brioche that we adore. We finish with a bûchette, the individualized format of Anthony Coquereau's famous Bûche de Noël

for the end of 2022, which combines the regressive flavors of caramelized popcorn, peanuts, caramel and dulcey chocolate.
