Throughout season 22 of Dancing with the Stars, host Erin Andrews had a lot of princess style moments (from the Tinker Bell-esque gown to her Princess Elsa design) and a few ’80s nostalgia

throwbacks. But no look was sexier than her finale dress. In fact, it was so skin-baring she needed to pass it by the show producers for approval! Find out all about her two-part finale

gowns (and the scoop on her new summer hair cut) below! Adam Taylor/ABC/Getty (2) Before we get to the sheer moment, let’s start with Monday night’s “safe and pretty” look. “We went with a

color and dress style I’ve never done before,” Andrews tells PeopleStyle about her green Maria Lucia Hohan gown. Stylist, Alyssa Greene calls the color “fresh and vibrant” and explains, “It

looked like Erin could have been plucked from a glamorous Caribbean cruise.” Erin Andrews But the part Andrews really liked was that the built-in bodysuit that provided the perfect neckline

to debut her new short summer cut, which hairstylist Ryan Randall calls, “a more modern, longer bob.” To get the textured look, he started by blowing out the hair with a round brush for

volume and lift while also applying Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray at the root. Then, with a 1 1/4 inch Marcel iron, he curled random sections in alternating directions to give bend

and movement. Erin Andrews “Erin’s love of texture meant that I broke sections up with Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and tousled it with my fingers for that perfect beachy wave,” he explains.

To finish it up, he used bit of R+Co Badlands Dry Shampoo Paste on the ends to get a piecey affect. As for the beauty look, it was all about a “dewy, flawless” complexion according to makeup

artist Lisa Ashley. She prepped Andrews’ skin with Sisley Black Rose Face Oil then used a mix of Lisa Ashley’s The Ultimate Moisturizer, plus Armani Designer Lift Foundation and Chanel

Soleil Tan Bronzer. “To make certain dewy skin never looks greasy or shiny I kept her forehead and chin matte with Mally Poreless Face Defender,” she shares. To round out the look she used

Milani Bronze Beauty Lipstick and Armani Lip Gloss #303, lined the lips with Bobbi Brown pale pink pencil and used Stilla Pink Glow on the cheeks. RELATED PHOTOS: LAST NIGHT’S LOOK: LOVE IT

OR LEAVE IT? Now, onto night two! According to Andrews, she’s been dying to try the “body suit under the dress” look all season even though it was “very outside the box” for her. “We had to

get approval for how much skin we were showing underneath the super-sheer Davidson Zanine gown,” says Greene. “In the end we had to cover up a little more than we would have liked but we

still totally went for the sheer sexy look.” Erin Andrews Even with a significant amount of fabric missing, the gown was surprisingly very heavy. “Our male dancers lifted me up and walked me

across the floor in the opening number. I was so paranoid because the dress weighed a lot,” Andrews says. “Poor guys!” One good thing about the weight? She got her workout in for the day.

“I had to get from stage to stage all night long and with all that weight I needed help carrying the dress. It was definitely my workout for the day. I kept yelling ‘I feel light as a bird’

when I was able to change my clothes at the end of the night!” Erin Andrews RELATED VIDEO: NYLE DIMARCO AND PETA MURGATROYD WIN SEASON 22 OF _DANCING WITH THE STAR_S! As for the beauty

looks, both the makeup and hair were inspired by the dress. “The dress was feeling a bit naughty (read sexy!) and I took that cue a ran with it,” says Randall. To get such a sultry updo, he

used an ample application of Aquage Sea Salt Texturizing Spray for texture and grit, then rough dried her hair with his fingers. Next he used a 1 inch Marcel iron and curled her whole head

randomly then wrapped, twisted, knotted and pinned sections (and secured with a Henri Bendel Tuxedo Clip). “Generically shaped like a French twist, the ends are left out on some bits and the

direction of all the pieces varies throughout,” he explains. “Some pieces fell out over the ears and I love that! Imperfectly perfect is always the goal.” But before she headed to the

ballroom, he added a “dusting” of Outer Space hairspray to lock it all in. As for the makeup, Ashley smudged Sisley’s Phyto Eye Twist Pencil in waterproof with Steel and Black Diamond

shades. “If they are Erin-proof they are everything-proof! Erin’s makeup tends to just disappear right before my very eyes,” she shares. To complete the look, she also applied new mascara by

Lash Star Beauty, highlighted the cheeks with Lancôme Touche Liberte, used Bobbi Brown Rose Liner with KIKO Super Gloss #106 on the lips. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE SEXY FINALE LOOK? SHARE
