Denzel Washington allegedly called out a photographer for touching his arm at the Cannes Film Festival Monday. Professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman revealed what the actor yelled at the

aggressive shutterbug in their headline-making spat in an interview with Daily Mail published Tuesday. “Hey, one — one more time, stop,” the actor warned the paparazzo after physical contact

was made initially, per Freedman. EXPLORE MORE Freedman said that Washington, 70, continued to scold the unruly photographer. “Let me tell you — stop, stop — never put your hands on me

again. I’m talking to you, stop, all right,” Washington allegedly said. The lip-reading expert claimed that the photographer responded to Washington’s pleas with dismissal, telling him, “Not

allowed,” before cracking a devilish grin. The photographer became physical, grabbing Washington’s arm and allegedly asking, “Can I take a picture?” Washington apparently had enough from

the harasser as Freedman claimed the “Fences” star shouted, “Stop, stop it, stop it. I mean it. Stop, stop it.” The heated exchange unfolded at the premiere of Spike Lee’s movie, “Highest 2

Lowest.”  WANT MORE CELEBRITY AND POP CULTURE NEWS? Start your day with Page Six Daily. THANKS FOR SIGNING UP! Washington was seen wagging his finger at the photographer, who appeared to

laugh off the interaction and grabbed at him before being pushed away. Moments before tensions unraveled, Washington was seen schmoozing with his director as well as his co-star, A$AP Rocky.

Despite the momentary red carpet chaos, Washington appeared to be in high spirits at the screening. The cast and crew received a standing ovation for the movie, which is Washington’s fifth

collaboration with Lee. They previously linked up for 1990’s “Better Blues,” 1992’s “Malcolm X,” 1998’s “He Got Game” and 2006’s “Inside Man.” Page Six previously reached out to Washington’s

reps for comment.
