“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Melissa Gorga’s son Gino graduated middle school Thursday.
“GINO is going to high school😩😩😩,” Gorga, 43, wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations to my shy boy💙👨🏻🎓 I know you’re going to do amazing things! You impress me everyday💙.”
In one photo, the Bravolebrity posed with the 14-year-old, who wore a white suit jacket, a white button-down shirt, a black bow tie and black pants. Another snap showed the graduate posing
for a solo shot in front of the family’s swimming pool.
Gorga also took to her Instagram Stories to document the special night for her 2.6 million followers.
“Happy 8th grade graduation, boys! Love you! Gino, wave to me,” she said as the teen reluctantly gave a quick wave while posing with two of his friends through the sunroof of a blacked-out
Jeep Wrangler.
Another photo showed Gino and 10 of his friends — all wearing the same white and black outfits — lined up on a staircase.
In her final Instagram Story, Gorga cheered on her son as he walked toward the stage in his school’s auditorium.
The reality star’s husband, Joe Gorga, was unable to attend the ceremony due to a previously scheduled comedy show in Red Bank, NJ, but it appeared she met up with him afterward for a night
out at Centrada restaurant.
“So proud of you, I love you. Wish I was there,” Joe, 42, commented under his wife’s post.
Melissa recently chatted with Page Six exclusively about how “crazy” it is that her three kids — daughter Antonia, 16, and sons Gino and Joey, 12 — have grown up.
“My daughter’s about to start driving for the first time ever in August, and she gets her license Aug. 12, which is kind of crazy. Just dealing with having teenagers … is a whole different
vibe,” she told us at Mohegan Sun’s Toast with the Host on June 17.
The Envy founder added that she was “so proud” of her and Joe for “surviving reality television” since beginning their “RHONJ” journey on Season 3 in 2011.
“It’s not easy,” she continued. “There’s not a lot of couples that can survive it, so I’m personally going to pat both of us on the back for surviving being a happily married couple that’s,
like, real and authentic on reality television because it doesn’t roll like that anymore in life.”
