Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham are celebrating their marriage amidst their alleged feud with his famous family.
In a new interview for the June cover issue of Glamour, the couple looked back on their April 2022 wedding in Palm Beach, Florida, which Brooklyn’s mom, Victoria, allegedly “ruined” by
stealing their special dance during the reception.
When asked the advice they’d give to other couples planning a wedding, Peltz, 30, told the outlet, “‘Someone gave us this advice and I’m so glad we listened: Take a moment during [your
wedding] day just for the two of you. Step away, breathe, be together. Those were my favorite moments.”
“Weddings can be intense, especially when you’re busy making sure everyone else is having fun,” the actress stated. “That little break reminded us what it’s really about: us.”
“I totally agree,” said Brooklyn, 26. “After the ceremony, find time to disappear for a second. We took a quick drive, just the two of us. It was perfect. Also: love each other, be honest,
and always protect one another.”
Peltz admitted that she “was so nervous” to say her vows to Brooklyn in front of their wedding guests, while Brooklyn said that he “was a wreck” that day.
“Nicola kept me waiting for 10 minutes and it felt like forever,” the chef recalled. “But when I saw her, everything else disappeared.”
Brooklyn also told the outlet how he protects his relationship with Peltz while being in the spotlight.
“Ignore the noise. Keep your head down, work hard, be kind,” he said. “People are always going to talk. What matters is that we’re happy together.”
Peltz added, “It’s not always easy. On TikTok there are always random stories popping up about us. When I see fake news, my instinct is to shut it down. But it’s not worth it. I just scroll
past and move on.”
Last week, People reported that Victoria, 51, allegedly stole the show at Brooklyn and Peltz’s wedding when Marc Anthony took the stage to perform.
“Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up…Victoria Beckham!’” the insider
claimed, adding that the incident allegedly left Peltz feeling “that Victoria ruined her wedding, and couldn’t understand why.”
A second source claimed that the “Bates Motel” actress ran out of the room crying because of her mother-in-law.
“It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop,” the insider added.
At the time of the nuptials, there were rumors that Peltz was feuding with Victoria over her decision to wear a Valentino wedding dress instead of a gown by Victoria’s label.
But Peltz shut down the feud rumors in August 2022. “She didn’t say ‘you can’t wear it;’ I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that,” she
told Variety.
In March 2023, Peltz told Cosmpolitan, “I’ve said this so many times: There’s no feud. I don’t know. No one ever wants to write the nice things.”
The Beckham family feud rumors resurfaced last month, when Brooklyn and Peltz skipped David’s 50th birthday party in London. They also didn’t go to Victoria’s fashion show in Paris in March.
TMZ reported that Brooklyn allegedly isn’t speaking to his family because of his brother Romeo’s relationship with his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
While Brooklyn and Peltz don’t approve of the romance, Victoria and David, 50, are allegedly on Romeo’s side.
The Post has previously reached out to reps for Brooklyn, Peltz, David and Victoria for comment.
