Brittany, Patrick Mahomes celebrate Taylor Swift's masters purchase

The Chiefs crew showed their excitement for Taylor Swift on Friday.

Shortly after Swift bought back the master recordings of her first six studio albums, Travis Kelce, along with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes, took to social media to celebrate her purchase.

Kelce, 35, liked his partner’s post on Instagram, with Patrick Mahomes re-sharing a post regarding the news on his X account.

Brittany Mahomes was perhaps the most vocal of them all, reposting Swift’s Instagram post on her story, captioning it with, “Just so amazing.”

Swift, 35, revealed that she once again owns her music catalog after it was sold to music executive Scooter Braun in 2019, and shared the news through an announcement Friday.

“Hi. I’m trying to gather my thoughts into something coherent, but right now my mind is just a slideshow,” Swift said in her statement. “A flashback sequence of all the times I daydreamed

about, wished for and pined away for a chance to get to tell you this news.”

“All the times I was thiiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through,” she continued. “I almost stopped thinking it could ever happen, after 20 years of having the

carrot dangled then yanked away. But that’s all in the past now.”

Swift has been in a relationship with the Chiefs’ tight end since 2023, and the couple is seemingly heading toward, according to the Daily Mail.

Kelce is reportedly waiting until his retirement to propose, an anonymous source told the outlet, adding that “nothing seems to be imminent.”

“Once he done playing [football], the conversation will be front and center,” the anonymous source said of Kelce, whose contract expires after the 2025 season.

“Everyone is just waiting for Travis to ask her parents [Andrea and Scott Swift] for her hand in marriage. Her parents will say ‘yes,’ and they can’t wait for them to get engaged.

“Nothing seems to be imminent, but it will 100 percent happen. Taylor and Travis are treating this relationship as their last relationship, and when they get engaged, when they get married

and when they start a family, it will be exactly when it is meant to happen.”
