Eddie murphy reveals his son has married martin lawrence’s daughter: ‘we’re in-laws’

Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence are in-laws! The “Daddy Day Care” star, 64, revealed his son Eric Murphy recently tied the knot with the “Bad Boys” actor’s daughter Jasmin Lawrence.

“Actually, they got married, like, two weeks ago,” Murphy said while on Thursday’s episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show.” “They went off… Everybody was making the big wedding plans, and they

two of them and the preacher,” Murphy stated. “They had a quiet little thing. So I think we’ll have like a big party or something.” While they have festivities to plan, the “Beverly Hills

Cop” vet is also planning what’s next in his and Lawrence’s professional life. “There’s a bunch of ideas that we have,” he said. “There’s one thing: ‘It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.’ It’s a

that growing up in a similar situation as Eric bonded the two. “There’s so much that I don’t have to explain, he just gets,” Jasmin expressed. “And that’s really, really nice.” She added,

“I think we just balance each other out really, really well … so it’s a good match.” In 2024, the couple got engaged in a room with dozens of candles, white roses and a giant heart hanging
