Charlotte Adams & Max Bertz _Grasmere Farm in Rhinebeck, N.Y._ October 1, 2011 Marketing manager Charlotte Adams and credit salesman Max Bertz, both 27, met as college co-eds in
Allentown, Pennsylvania, ten years ago. Charlotte was first impressed with Max’s guitar-playing abilities; she had caught him jamming to Bob Marley in his dorm room and made a point of
walking past his door every day until he asked her out. The couple dated throughout college and eventually moved to Murray Hill; Max later proposed at Charlotte’s parents’ Florida beach
house (with them watching from the window). For their 220-guest wedding, the couple wanted a location that embodied their love of the outdoors: The 500-acre Grasmere Farm fit the bill
perfectly. The cocktail hour took place outside the farm’s stone barn (guests warmed themselves with bourbon-and-ginger martinis); inside, votive candles and chandeliers illuminated the
wooden dance floor, where an eight-piece band played Motown, Jay-Z, and more. “The whole barn was shaking from all the dancing,” Charlotte says. THE DETAILS ------------------------- DRESS:

this, but I really did marry my best friend. I was truly happy to see him at the end of the aisle.” Photo: 1.Art Beauty Life “The crème-fraîche yellow cake with chocolate mousse tasted
amazing. Most brides try to eat light on the big day, but I ate my entire piece of cake and then some.” Photo: 1.Art Beauty Life Slide Header Address, date, or similar info here. For me, the
high point of the show is this, which manages simultaneously to be a painting, a force field, _and an electromagnetic visual discharge._ This is an artist sloughing off old consciousness,
making something he doesn’t even know is art, giving up nearly all known languages of painting, and maybe violating the laws of nature by making something that seemingly puts off more energy
than went into making it. Photo: ” 2010 The Pollock-Krasner Foundation/Artists Rights Society (ARS), New York/Courtesy of the Museum of Modern Art, New York
