ABSTRACT GLACIAL, erosion has been accepted for more than a hundred years, yet there are many loose assumptions about the real nature of glaciated landforms. This lack of knowledge makes it
difficult to explain the erosion processes concerned. If more precise information were available, these processes and landforms could be applied to test several theories in ice physics.
