Nova brisbane's gm jay walkerden departs following internal investigation

Nova’s general manager in Brisbane and the group’s head of podcasting Jay Walkerden has left the business, Mumbrella can reveal. The departure comes after an internal investigation about an

alleged incident during a work trip to the United States. Walkerden on a panel about building a quality podcast audience at Mumbrella’s Audioland last year Walkerden was travelling with

members of the Brisbane breakfast show ‘Ash, Kip and Luttsy with Susie O’Neill’ earlier this year, and it’s understood the alleged altercation involved one of the on-air team members.

to the dual role of general manager of Brisbane in 2015. He then also took on responsibility for its podcast operations. Walkerden has been contacted for comment.
