2025 Lando Norris admitted he had performed a similar move to Max Verstappen ramming into the side of George Russell - but only whilst playing Mario Kart. The Red Bull driver found himself

involved in huge controversy in the final laps of the Spanish Grand Prix and it ended with him driving straight into the side of his Mercedes rival. Verstappen was instructed by his team to

give his fourth spot to the Brit after they had tangled into turn one. The Dutchman, already frustrated, slowed to let the Mercedes driver go round him, before speeding up and slamming into

Russell to keep the position. He would led the Brit past a few corners later, but still got himself a ten-second penalty to leave him in tenth. Norris, race winner Oscar Piastri and Charles

Leclerc were in the cool down room as they watched the race highlights. They were stunned to see the shunt before Norris joked he had also done likewise. However his shunts were not whilst

a bit of a surprise to see Max Verstappen try a three-stop and it nearly worked for him, so yeah it was a great weekend overall though. Article continues below "The overall pace was

really good and we could turn it on when we needed to and just very proud of the work we’ve done this weekend. It wasn’t the best first practice and then we got our stuff together, it’s a

best shot. It's a long race, anything could have happened at the end of the race. "We both got pretty sideways with the safety car restart. It was a good, fun race and for us as a

team to finish one-two is even better."
