The fourth week of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' trial kicked off on Monday, with his former assistant and alleged victim Mia finishing her for cross-examination. The music mogul is
currently facing a number of serious charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. On Friday, Mia -
who has been given a pseudonym and will not be identified in the trial - described herself as being young at the time she was working for Diddy and that she was easily manipulated. She
previously described Combs as an abusive and controlling boss and alleged that he assaulted her repeatedly. She claimed he had "wanted to die with the secret of her abuse" before
saying she had to testify, or she wouldn't be able to look family in the eye. A hotel custodian also took to the stand on the 14th day of proceedings, with tomorrow set to begin with
the testimony of a Los Angeles hotel worker. Other witnesses expected to testify this week include a radio DJ and a forensic video expert. _*For confidential support, call the 24-hour

START DAY'S PROCEEDINGS TOMORROW A hotel security supervisor will start the day's proceedings tomorrow. Eddy Garcia will take to the witness stand tomorrow having briefly took the
stand today to invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. Garcia worked as a security supervisor at the Los Angeles hotel where Diddy was filmed in March 2016 attacking
Cassie Ventura. Garcia received an immunity order which will spare him from potential prosecution so long as he answers questions truthfully. 20:14Jamie Roberts JURY DISMISSED FOR THE DAY
Sylvia Oken is off the stand after briefly being cross-examined. Prosecutors didn’t have any questions for a redirect-examination and the jury has now been dismissed for the day. 20:13Jamie
Roberts DIDDY'S HOTEL ALIAS Sylvia Oken said she recalled some reservations made for Sean Combs under the alias 'Frank Black'. Oken said it was common for guests in the
industry to stay under an alias. She also claimed Cassie Ventura was listed as an accompanying guest on reservations, saying she had full access to the reservation and could charge things to
the room. 20:05Jamie Roberts HOTEL CUSTODIAN CALLED AS NEXT WITNESS Sylvia Okun, a hotel custodian in charge of sales and marketing at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles has been called
as the government's next witness. Before her role at the hotel, she was the entertainment sales director, a role which saw her be in charge of bookings for clients in the entertainment
industry. 20:03KEY EVENT EX ASSISTANT 'COULDN'T LOOK LOVED ONES IN THE EYE WITHOUT TESTIFYING' Mia has claimed she had no choice but to testify in the case. She told the
courtroom she couldn't turn a blind eye to the issue of sexual assault. She said: "Because I can’t look my niece or my goddaughters in the eyes … in the future if they happen to be
in this situation." 19:56Jamie Roberts MIA SAYS SEXUAL ASSAULT IS WORST THING SHE HAS EVER HAD TO TALK ABOUT Mia testified that feelings of terror and difficulty understanding what
happened were partly why she met with the government a number of times. After prosecutor Madison Smyser asked if she has ever been able to speak about her allegations about the rapper's
sexual assault without looking down, she replied: "No, it's the worst thing I have ever had to talk about in my life." 19:54Jamie Roberts MIA HAD 'GOOD REASON' TO
MAKE SURE COMBS WAS PLEASED Mia has claimed she felt she had to make sure Diddy was pleased. She told the courtroomon re-direct: "Because when he was happy, I was safe. She didn't
distance herself from her past statements of admiraton towards the star. 19:28Jamie Roberts COURT EXPECTED TO RUN LATE TODAY Judge Arun Subramanian had told the court it will probably run
late today to accommodate a witness who has a flight back to Los Angeles tonight. Defence attorney Brian Steel had said earlier in the day he had expected to be done cross-examining Mia by
lunch, but his time frame has been incorrect. Other witnesses are still waiting to testify. 19:17Jamie Roberts MIA AGAIN CLAIMS DIDDY THREATENED HER LIFE Defence attorney Brian Steel
revisited Mia's prior testimony of the violence she faced at the hands of the rapper. He stated all her reports previously stated admiration towards the star. Steel recalled Mia's
prior testimony that claimed she was scared of being killed. He asked her if there were times she felt she could die at the hands of the musician, with Mia telling the court he had
threatened her life and physically assaulted her. 19:14Jamie Roberts MIA SAYS VENTURA WASN'T MADE CLEAR HER AND DIDDY WEREN'T EXCLUSIVE Mia is being cross-examined and testified
that Ventura had been upset at seeing Diddy with another woman. Mia told the courtroom that Diddy and Ventura's relationship had been presented as exclusive, but defence attorney Brian
Steel noted this wasn't the case. Mia then told the court 'oit was not clear to her. 18:35Jamie Roberts MIA WORKED FOR MADONNA AFTER DIDDY ROLE Combs' former assistant has
revealed she went on to have an eight-month spell working for Madonna. Mia said she was hired as an assistant in addition to the icon's film division, saying she landed the job without
the help of Combs. She also claimed the rapper went back on a promise to help her with a TV show she had developed. 17:30Jamie Roberts COURT ADJOURNS FOR LUNCH Judge Arun Subramanian has
called for the courtroom's daily lunch break. Mia will be given documents during the break to try to refresh her memory about the meetings she had with the government before the trial.
17:09Jamie Roberts MIA ASKED FOR $10MILLION AT MEDIATION Sean 'Diddy' Combs' ex-assistant has said she went to mediation after her departure from his employment. She said her
claim against the star went to mediation and a figure of $10million was used as an opening in negotiatons. Mia said they evenutally settled for $400,000, with her lawyers retaining around
half of the fee. 16:57KEY EVENT MIA 'WANTED TO DIE' WITH SECRET OF HER ABUSE Mia has testified that she didn't tell Cassie Ventura of her own experiences of sexual abuse from
Combs during a conversation after Cassie filed sexual abuse allegations against the star. Mia told the court: "I was still deeply and shamed and wanted to die with this."
16:50Jamie Roberts DIDDY PUT 'TRACKING DEVICE ON CASSIE'S CAR', MIA CLAIMS Mia has claimed Combs stole Cassie Ventura's phone and put tracking devices on her car to keep
track of where she went. Mia said she felt bad for covering up his actions, but felt that if she didn't, the rapper would remove her access to Cassie. She said she was
'terrified' of what Combs might have been capable of. 16:45Jamie Roberts MIA CLAIMS SHE WAS 'TOLD TO LIE' TO CASSIE VENTURA Diddy's former assistant has claimed she
was 'not allowed' to tell Cassie Ventura of the star's whereabouts or actions. 16:28Jamie Roberts DEFENCE CRITICISED FOR QUESTIONING TONE Prosecutor Maurene Comey has
critcised the defence's tone of questioning. Comey told U.S. District Judge Arun Subramanian that she felt the defence was mistreating Mia, making allegations Brian Steele was
humiliatingher on the witness stand. The judge said he heard the concerns and will keep watch for any offesnive conduct. 16:07Rose Hill COURT BREAK AFTER MIA'S FACE SHOWN ON FEED The
court is entering a brief break after witness Mia's face was shown to members of the media following along in a secure room for eight seconds in error via an internal courthouse feed.
This is despite a judge's order that her face not be shown, nor drawn by courtroom sketch artists. The prosecution hasn't lodged an immediate objection. 15:56Rose Hill MIA SAYS SHE
WAS SCARED OF DIDDY 'WHEN HE WAS SCARY' The defense is still pushing Mia on her years of friendly communications with the media mogul. Referring back to Mia's text to Diddy
wishing him a Merry Christmas and saying she missed him, the defense referred back to her testimony to the jury that she didn't want to see him because she feared him. Asked whether she
was scared of Diddy the entire time she knew him, including after her employment, she replied: "I was scared of him when he was scary, yes." 15:37Rose Hill 'I WAS TERRIFIED
AND BRAINWASHED' - MIA ON WHY SHE DIDN'T COME FORWARD EARLIER Mia has told the court that she was "terrified and brainwashed" as she explained why she didn't come
forward with her sexual assault allegations against Combs earlier. Diddy's former assistant had decided to speak out after others came forward. She said: "It’s been a long process.
I’m still untangling these things. I’m in therapy." 15:26KEY EVENT DIDDY'S ASSISTANT CLAIMS SHE WAS 'BRAINWASHED' IN NOTES SHE MADE ABOUT HIM Mia has testified that she
would often follow Diddy around and make notes about the funny things he said. Defense attorney Brian Steel asked: "Did you ever produce any random notes that showed Mr. Combs was
anything but professional with you? Do you have any notes that Mr. Combs was violent toward you? It’s not true, is it?" Mia responded: "I will not lie in this courtroom. I will
never lie in this courtroom. … I was still brainwashed.” 15:22Rose Hill MIA CLAIMS SHE REACHED OUT TO COMBS AFTER KIM PORTER'S DEATH Mia testified that her loving texts to Diddy was
sparked by the death of his on-off partner Kim Porter. Porter, who was the mother of three of Diddy's children, tragically died in 2018 from pneumonia. Defense attorney Steele showed
that her texts to Diddy were months after Porter's death. However, Mia responded that she didn't believe that five months was a long time when grieving and that at that time she
hadn't understood what had happened to her while she had been working for Combs. She also told the court that part of Combs did care for her. 15:12KEY EVENT MIA DESCRIBES DIDDY AS HER
'TORMENTOR AND PROTECTOR' Mia is being grilled by the defense on text messages she sent to her former boss Diddy in 2018. The music mogul's former assistant - who left the
company in 2017 - read a text aloud from 2018 as she wished him a Merry Christmas and wrote: "I love you so so much." In another text she sent, she said that she had a nightmare
about singer R. Kelly, who is currently serving time in prison for many crimes including sex trafficking and racketeering. She wrote: "I screamed for you. And you came to rescue
me." Defense attorney Brian Steel asked Mia why she would text someone who had allegedly sexually assaulted her in this way. Mia responded by saying that she was likely still
'psychologically' in Diddy's thrall and said that while he was her tormentor, he was also her "protector" for years. 14:56Rose Hill DEFENSE HITS OUT AT MIA OVER HER
CV The defense has opened their cross-examination of Mia by grilling her on whether she remembered telling Doddy that she worked well under pressure and had "thick skin". Mia
responded by saying that she doesn't remember writing that she had thick skin and when asked directly whether she did, she replied saying she thought she did. Mia did tell the court
that she could multitask under pressure and taht she speaks up for herself. 14:32Rose Hill MIA RETURNS TO THE STAND Diddy's former assistant Mia has returned to the witness stand for
the third day to resume the defense's cross-examination. 14:31Rose Hill HOTEL SECURITY SUPERVISOR INVOKES FIFTH AMENDMENT Eddie Garcia, a security manager at the InterContinental Hotel
in Los Angeles where Diddy was infamously filmed attacking ex Cassie Ventura, has invoked his Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination. The hotel worker briefly took to the witness
stand to put the request on record and seek reassurance from the government that he is free from prosecution so long as he testifies truthfully. He has since left the stand and is expected
to return to testify later today. 14:19Rose Hill JUDGE REJECTS DEFENSE EFFORTS TO SHOW MIA DRINKING AND HAVING FUN ON HOLIDAY Defense attorney Brian Steele argued to U.S. District Court
Judge Arun Subramanian that footage of Mia drinking and having fun in Honduras while on vacation was relevant. He claimed it added to his argument that Mia was fired from Combs Enterprises
due to alcohol abuse - not her claim that it was because she brought him the wrong workout clothes. However, the judge has ruled the footage as inadmissable, suggesting that it is a bid to
embarrass the witness. 14:13Rose Hill DIDDY'S DEFENSE ATTORNEY TO CONDUCT MORE DEEP DIVES INTO MIA'S SOCIAL MEDIA Most of Friday's cross-examination of Mia, Diddy's
former employee, was concentrated on her years of social media posts. The suggestion by the defense is that they contradict her testimony. It appears there may be more of the same today.
Judge Arun Subramanian asked defense attorney Brian Steel: "We’re not going to have 30 more Instagram posts?" In response, Steel said: "I can’t say that." A government
prosecutor has since told the court that they have just been given "30 social media posts" to review, some of which they plan on objecting to. On Friday, Judge Subramanian ruled
out the defence team showing the video of Mia wishing Diddy a happy birthday. He stated that the relevance and probative value are too minimal and that the defence team had failed to turn it
over to the government sooner. However, defence attorney Brian Steel can ask Mia about the video. 13:45Rose Hill COURT RESUMES Court has now resumed for day 14 of Combs' trial.
13:31Rose Hill TRUMP NOT RULING OUT DIDDY PARDON President Donald Trump was quizzed last week on whether he would consider pardoning Sean 'Diddy' Combs, who he described in 2012 as
a good friend. Trump said in the press conference: "Nobody's asked, but I know people are thinking about it...some people have been very close to asking. "First of all,
I'd look at what's happening," he continued. "And I haven't been watching it too closely, although it's certainly getting a lot of coverage. I haven't seen
him, I haven't spoken to him in years." About his relationship with Diddy, Trump added: "He used to really like me a lot, but I think when I ran for politics, that
relationship busted up from what I read. I don't know, he didn't tell me that, but I'd read some nasty statements in the paper all of a sudden." "It's
different, you become a much different person when you run for politics, and you do what's right. I could do other things, and I'm sure he'd like me, and I'm sure other
people would like me, but it wouldn't be as good for our country. Like we said, our country is doing really well because of what we're doing. It's not a popularity
contest," he continued. He readdressed the possibility of a pardon, concluding, "I would certainly look at the facts. If I saw someone was mistreated, whether they liked me or
don't like me, it wouldn't have any impact."
