LOVE ISLAND STAR MOLLY-MAE HAGUE HAS OPENED UP ON HER BATTLE WITH ENDOMETRIOSIS AS SHE REVEALED SHE HAD SURGERY AND CREDITS DAUGHTER BAMBI WITH 'CURING' HER PAIN 10:56, 04 Mar 2025
Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she had secret surgery in a bid to help her painful health condition and now she no longer has painful sex. The former Love Island star, 25, opened up on her
battle with endometriosis and confirmed she had surgery to alleviate symptoms of the inflammatory disease. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the womb starts
to grow in other places, such as the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Molly-Mae admitted to not wanting to talk about the condition due to it being "scared". She had revealed her
diagnosis in 2022 but now fears "saying the wrong thing or offending people" after being sent "quite a bit of backlash". The mum-of-one was accused of "not
explaining it properly" and even of making endometriosis a trend. She confessed "it set me back" but wanted to give fans an update on her health in her new candid vlog.
Molly-Mae feels she no longer suffers with endometriosis anymore as she credits her daughter Bambi, two. Speaking on her YouTube channel, she shared: "I actually feel like I don’t
suffer from it anymore. Sometimes I don’t want to come on here and say that but hopefully it gives people hope there is light at the end of the tunnel. I know it isn't curable but it
can get so much better. READ MORE: Sabrina Carpenter last-minute tickets are out and you can buy them here Article continues below "I did have a Laparoscopy, which is the surgery that
you have with endometriosis to basically burn the endometriosis. My Laparoscopy was really successful and for the first few months I thought it hadn't worked. It took a while to see the
results. To be honest with you, it wasn’t actually the Laparoscopy that I feel like ‘cured’ me." She continued: "I honestly do think it was having Bambi that has completely got
rid of my endometriosis. I didn't have period for nine months but when it did come back, bar like the first two or three periods, I noticed the pain had completely gone. It is not
debilitating, it is not excruciating like it used to be. It doesn't reduce me to tears. It just feels like what a normal period should feel like. The painful sex went away after I had
Bambi." Molly-Mae explained: "Endometriosis is a distant memory for me." She confessed to wanting to be "a little bit less afraid to talk about it" but feels
"so blessed" she is no longer suffering. Back in 2022, Molly-Mae discussed how the condition impacted her intimate relationship with boxer Tommy Fury, who she shares daughter Bambi
with. Article continues below "My two main symptoms have been the excruciating periods and the excruciating sex," Molly-Mae shared. "I will be honest, I do believe the
painful sex symptom is what pushed me into getting my problem fixed, into working out what was wrong with my body because not only was I doing it for me and fixing it for me, which is
obviously the main reason, I was also trying to do it for Tommy." Molly-Mae also opened up about the "agonising pain" she had to endure due to the chronic condition, revealing
she almost called an ambulance due to the "level of pain" she was experiencing. "It got so bad, I would be rolling in bed and I would actually be fearful for my life,
thinking for my body to be in this much agonising pain, what is it going through? " she shared. "I genuinely used to be in that much pain that I was fearful I wouldn't wake up
in the morning. It was so so horrendous." _LIKE THIS STORY? FOR MORE OF THE LATEST SHOWBIZ NEWS AND GOSSIP, FOLLOW MIRROR CELEBS ON __TIKTOK__, __SNAPCHAT__, __INSTAGRAM__,
