Billy Joel's daughter Alexa has broken her silence after her famous father revealed he had a rare brain disorder. The 76-year-old broke the news to fans earlier this week and cancelled

all his upcoming tour dates. In an official statement two days ago, the Uptown Girl singer said: "Billy Joel has announced that he will be cancelling all scheduled concerts following a

recent diagnosis of Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH). "This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision and balance. Under

his doctor's instructions, Billy is undergoing specific physical therapy and has been advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period." The social media statement

added: "Billy is thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritising his health. He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks

forward to the day when he can once again take the stage." Billy, who was due to play gigs in Edinburgh and Liverpool next month, added: "I'm sincerely sorry to disappoint our

quoting some lyrics from the song Lullabye (Good Night My Angel), which her father wrote for her. It said: "Someday We'll All Be Gone / But Lullabies Go On And On / They Never Die

/ That's How You And I Will Be. The music continues… All My Love, Alexa Ray." Fans were quick to comment underneath offering well wishes. One posted: "Your Dad has given the

world so much love and joy - we are here with you." Another wrote: "The whole world is rooting for you Billy!" A third commented: "Alexis, tell your dad we are all
