After making Peel Avenue its home in the Trafford Centre for over 15 years, the much loved parenting store Mamas & Papas has made a new home for itself in the shopping centre’s Regent
Crescent.
Relocating across the shopping centre, Mamas and Papas have announced that the new unit will become the brand's new flagship store which will look to offer parents with an "elevated"
shopping experience.
Revealing the new store today (30 May), Mamas & Papas' Trafford Centre store has sported a modern look to match many of its existing stores.
The new outlet is home to a vast variety of Mamas & Papas' range, including award-winning travel systems, nursery furniture, clothing, toys and other parenting essentials.
As a concept store, the new outlet includes point-of-sale features, interactive product experiences and adaptable displays to support shoppers when in-store.
Unveiling the new store, Mamas & Papas CEO Nathan Williams described the brand's new Trafford outlet as providing shoppers with an "elevated" store look.
But while the store brings a new feel to Mamas and Papas, Mr Williams also added how the brand's values will be extended into the new outlet.
He said: “In our sector trust and quality are two very important decisions for customers when they buy, so when you walk into this store we want customers to instantly feel welcome."
On the opening Marcus Appleton, Global Retail Director at Mamas & Papas, said: “Our Trafford Centre store has always been one of our most valued retail locations, and we’re incredibly
excited to relaunch it as our concept flagship store with hopes of rolling out similar stores across our UK and International partners.
"Every detail of the new space has been thoughtfully designed to reflect how today’s parents want to shop, plus our knowledgeable in-store team is on-hand to offer support and advice, making
it easier for customers to explore, compare, and find what’s right for their growing family.”
Mr Appleton further explained: “We’ve learned a lot in the last 15 years and we will replicate that from today in the new space."
He added: “Because we’ve had so much experience in this location we’ve been able to cherry pick and perfect the range. We’ve been able to curate the range to make it very special for our
Trafford Manchester customers.”
Alongside clothing, toys , nursery furniture and other parenting essentials, the new store also features a number of services which offer parents personalised one-to-one support, including
Car Seat Consultations and Buying for Baby appointments.
On offering tailored advice on car seats within Mamas and Papas stores, Mr Appleton emphasised the brand's commitment to improving access to education on choosing car seats to ensure that
parents are provided with specialised information when making these decisions.
The store will also offer be host to a range of exclusive in-store events to help inform and inspire parents, kicking off with a closed coffee morning next Wednesday (4 June).
Mamas and Papas' new Trafford Centre flagship store can be found on the first floor of the shopping centre's Regent's Crescent next to M&S.
