down with the flu ahead of his Glastonbury Festival set, days after cancelling a show at his Las Vegas residency.
The 80-year-old singer concerned fans after it was announced that he had to go on vocal rest after his One Last Time tour with performances planned in North America, Europe, and South
America across 2025.
He was then unable to perform at his Las Vegas residency show on Sunday 1st June and was forced to postpone his performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Place.
Since then, the music legend announced that he will be cancelling another show on Thursday 5th June "due to illness".
Sir Rod's latest statement read: "I’m awfully sorry to have to cancel my show on June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

the stage from 3.45pm until 5.15pm.
However, Rod said that he doesn't like that it often gets branded as the "tea-time slot".
He said: "“I don’t mind, I think I deserve it (being called a legend). I just wish they wouldn’t call it the tea-time slot."
It was only last month that the star went under vocal rest after his concert at Milan’s Unipol Forum as he held a sign around his neck informing those around him.
While he won't be doing any more "large scale" tours after his most recent one finishes, Rod shared that he has no plans to retire anytime soon.

"I love what I do, and I do what I love. I'm fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 metres in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79."I'd like to move onto a Great American Songbook,
Swing Fever tour the year after next – smaller venues and more intimacy. But then again, I may not..."
