interested in signing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo this summer. Mbeumo, 25, is understood to be keen on a transfer to Old Trafford from Brentford. The forward contributed 20 goals and

eight assists in the Premier League this season, predominantly playing on the right wing but also making a handful of appearances down the middle. United, Arsenal, Tottenham and Newcastle

have been linked with a deal for Mbuemo this summer, but the player has given encouragement that he would prefer a move to Manchester. Thomas Frank recently admitted Mbeumo could be sold for

the "right price" this summer. "I want my best players to stay forever. I know that Bryan is very happy being here at Brentford," Frank told Sky Sports. Article

continues below "He's thriving, doing well and playing fantastic. What happens in the future? I don't know. I've said many times: we are a selling club. But at the same

time we have to reinforce that there are 10 clubs in the world who aren't selling clubs. "If the right price - and that's going to be expensive - is coming, then I'm sure

the club will be open. But I'm very happy he's here, and I'm convinced that Bryan will still be happy playing football here." Mbeumo is about to enter the final year of

his Brentford contract, although the London club has the option of extending it by another year. Formal contact between United and Brentford could begin imminently now Mbeumo has given an

indication of his desired move, and a fee of £50million has been touted for the player. United announced the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5million on Sunday. Cunha will

officially complete his transfer when his visa and registration have been approved. Cunha and Mbeumo scored 35 goals between them in the Premier League this season, which is just nine fewer
