winner that’s being described as ‘sexy and darkly funny’.
The streaming platform has released a number of major programmes in recent weeks, including the final season of You and Tina Fey’s The Four Seasons.
Already confirming a second season for Fey’s show, which boasts Steve Carrell and Colman Domingo in its supporting cast, Netflix is as keen as ever to keep viewers on their app.
With the Squid Game’s final season and a Heartstopper movie also on the horizon, their biggest edition of the week might just be one of the biggest shows of the year.
Titled Sirens, the series is set over Labor Day weekend and follows a woman on her journey to a lavish island full of mansions and wealthy people.
Worried about her sister's too-close relationship with her billionaire boss, the scrappy everywoman attempts to get to the bottom of what’s really going on.

performance in 2014’s Still Alice.
Moore, like many of Hollywood peers these days, is no stranger to television, having appeared in Sky Atlantic’s historical drama Mary & George last year.
Filling out Sirens’ cast is House of the Dragon’s Millie Alcock, Footloose legend Kevn Bacon and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Glenn Howerton.
Teasing what viewers can expect, executive producer Molly Smith Metzler said: “Casting Meghann was a gift from the heavens. This story has a lot of teeth.
“There are real moments of drama, and it’s going to make people uncomfortable. Operatic is a word I like to use to describe it. It’s a true dark comedy — and it’s got a Greek mythology
vibe.”
The series synopsis reads: “Devon thinks her sister Simone has a really creepy relationship with her new boss, the enigmatic socialite Michaela Kell.
“Michaela’s cultish life of luxury is like a drug to Simone, and Devon has decided it’s time for an intervention, but she has no idea what a formidable opponent Michaela will be.
Article continues below “Told over the course of one explosive weekend at the Kells’ lavish beach estate, Sirens is an incisive, sexy, and darkly funny exploration of women, power, and
class.”
For those looking for their next binge, all five episodes of Sirens are available to stream on Netflix, on Thursday, May 22.
