Corrie fans 'uncover' betsy swain's discovery as lisa lies to daughter

have 'worked out' what Betsy Swain will discover as Lisa is set to lie to her daughter about her fresh findings. As fans of the ITV soap know, we only discovered DS Swain has a

teenage daughter last year following her arrival in Weatherfield in the summer. Her arrival came amidst the investigation into Lauren Bolton's disappearance and presumed murder, while

groomer Joel Deering hid in plain sight. Since then, Corrie fans have discovered more about the mother and daughter duo's past, with Lisa partner and Betsy's mum, Becky, dying in

the line of duty. Next week, it has been hinted that Betsy will find out more about her family's past, as Lisa faces an emotional goodbye at PC Craig Tinker's memorial, with

girlfriend Carla Connor by her side. With the memorial ahead, Carla Conor confides in her step-daughter that she’s worried about her mum, Lisa, which gives Carla a plan to take her mind off

of it. Article continues below On the morning of Craig’s memorial, Sarah Platt's concerned to discover that Kit Green's already left for the day. As the mourners gather for the

memorial, Lisa worries when Kit doesn't show up as he’s making a speech. Whilst Sarah and Kit's mum, Bernie, desperately try to get hold of Kit, it's clear Kirk Sutherland is

in no state to step in and so Lisa makes a heartfelt speech honouring Craig. Lisa later apologises to Carla and, hoping to distract herself from the day ahead, decides to go through some old

files. When Lisa catches Betsy snooping in one of said files, she grabs it from her leaving Betsy intrigued. Betsy confronts Lisa about the file, but the detective sergeant lies, saying

it's about Betsy's paternity and she can't see it until she's eighteen. As Carla arrives home, she finds Betsy has been rummaging through Lisa’s old files. Later, Betsy

shows Lauren Bolton a picture on her phone of the letter she found containing information on her mum, Becky, and is intent on getting answers. When Lisa suggests they meet for lunch, Betsy

makes out she’s seeing Dylan Wilson. But as Betsy and Lauren arrive in the prison visiting room, Betsy admits she’s a nervous wreck. Soon, Logan swaggers over to Betsy and Lauren and Betsy

tells him she’s here to find out what really happened to Becky. Will Logan give her the answers she needs? Meanwhile, Steve McDonald lets slip to Lisa and Carla that Betsy isn’t having lunch

with Dylan and in fact ordered a cab to Highfield Prison. Corrie fans have already been speculating about what Lisa could be trying to hide from Betsy. @Chez_Tops_Kim said: "Just me
