about the fans of the long-running show as it was reported that she spent almost an hour chatting to those waiting at the British Soap Awards. The actress, who is best known for playing DS


Lisa Swain in the ITV soap, was among Team Corrie as they descended down to London from Manchester for the star-studded bash on Saturday (May 31), held at the Hackney Empire. Fans waited


outside the venue in the capital to get a glimpse of their favourite stars from Corrie, Emmerdale, EastEnders and Hollyoaks and according to those there, Vicky seemingly spent a long time


making she got round the waiting crowd who wanted to meet her. And despite losing out on the 'Best Partnership' gong alongside Alison King, who plays soap favourite Carla Connor,


Vicky seemed taken aback by all the love and support. Taking to Instagram, she shared a selfie from inside the British Soap Awards, which was hosted by Jane McDonald and airs on ITV on


Thursday (June 5), in which she could be seen sitting alongside on-screen daughter Sydney Martin, who fans know for playing Betsy Swain. Alongside the picture, the soap star wrote:


"Thank you for the incredible support yesterday, in person and online! You're amazing," before tagging Corrie and Sydney in her posts and writing '#TheSwains'.


Article continues below Sydney also shared her own adorable look and her and Vicky's first British Soap Awards experience after they were captured chatting and giggling together in the


auditorium. "Fan girling on the front row," the star captioned the post. Meanwhile, Vicky also took to her main Instagram grid with a picture of her sparkling look for the evening,


and a closer look at her gorgeous hair and makeup choices for the soap bash. Article continues below Captioning the post, the Stockport-born star wrote: "BSA 2025. Ok, I’m utterly


useless at social media - I’m ok with that - but here’s a few thanks to those who helped to get me camera ready and of course, to you for your fantastic support!" Sydney was quick to


respond, as she gushed in the comments section: "beautiful as always." Fellow Corrie co-star and off-screen bestie Sally Carman-Duttine, who plays Abi Webster, also posted:


"You are BREATHTAKING." The compliments didn't stop as Amy Barlow star Elle Mulvaney simply replied: "Beautiful!" while Lucy Fallon, who plays Bethany Platt, shared:


"Gorjjjjjj!" It also wasn't just Corrie support as Hollyoaks actress Isabelle Smith, who is also best friends off-screen with Sydney, added: "Gorgeous."
