SEVERAL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE LECTURE-VISITS: a way of learning about art from the permanent collection, or from temporary exhibitions. DIALOGUE-VISITS: take place with a mediator from the
Museum who suggests a themed visit to an exhibition. The visit involves verbal exchanges or observation games. ACTIVITY-VISITS: provide keys for understanding through exchanges and dialogue
between the mediator and the children. Sitting or standing in front of the artworks, they engage their sensitivity and their knowledge in a succession of drawing or making activities.
SELF-GUIDED VISITS: allow teachers or supervisors to organise their own tour of the rooms. Support documents can be downloaded from the Museum’s website. CREATIVE WORKSHOPS: pupils immerse
themselves in an exhibition and the world of an artist or an artwork and then get involved in a form of artistic expression in the Museum’s teaching workshops. The techniques used may vary
according to the exhibition: painting, modelling, photomontage, creating sounds, multimedia, and more. CONDITIONS OF ACCESS AND RESERVATION FOR GROUPS For security reasons, groups are
limited to 30 people. For activity visits for nursery or primary schools, groups of more than 15 children must be split into two groups. Free visits, without a member of the Museum staff,
are possible but only under certain conditions (for information, please contact us). In all cases, reservation (exclusively by telephone) is compulsory and must take place at least three
weeks before a possible visit. A letter of confirmation will be sent to the person responsible for the group. CHARGE AND PAYMENT ACTIVITY-VISITS: €30 for the group; Dialogue-visits: €30 for
the entire class; Workshop (themed lecture followed by an art activity in our teaching workshops): €50 for the entire class; Multidisciplinary approaches: €30 for the group (groups of over
15 pupils must be split in two). ADMISSION CHARGES: Free for visitors under the age of 18. Payment is made on arrival of the group, at the cash desk, by cheque, bank card or in cash.
Information and reservations, Monday to Friday 9:30-12:30 and 14:30-17:30. Tel. 01 53 67 40 80
