Hundreds of thousands will line the route of Liverpool’s Premier League trophy parade - but you don’t have to be in the city to watch the action. Arne Slot and his squad will take the trophy

through the city next Monday (May 26). The reds were confirmed as champions following a 5-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur last month. The club, Liverpool City Council and businesses along the

route have been busy making preparations for the event ever since. This will be the first time Liverpool have been able to parade the league title through the city in over 30 years. The reds

won the Premier League in 2020 under Jurgen Klopp but covid scuppered plans for a tour of the trophy across the city. Parades were held to celebrate the reds winning the Champions League in

2019 and the League and FA Cup in 2022. The victory parade route will start at Allerton Maze and will travel northbound on Queens Drive towards the Childwall Fiveways roundabout and Rocket

flyover. From there the bus will go along Queens Drive, Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and The Strand before finishing at Blundell Street. Liverpool City Council’s

Culture Liverpool team has been liaising with businesses and residents on the route to make sure they are aware of the event and the impact it may have. The parade is scheduled to get under

way at 2.30pm BST and is expected to last between three and five hours. There are several pubs along the parade route fans can visit on the day. You can see the full list of pubs on the

route here. If you can’t make it to Liverpool for the parade, LFC are providing coverage of it. LFC’s live coverage of the whole event will begin at 1pm BST via the club’s official channels

on YouTube, on Facebook, X and TikTok. Fans can also tune in on LFCTV – Sky channel 423 or Virgin Media channel 544 in the UK – and via All Red Video (formerly LFCTV GO). LFC’s coverage will

feature 15 cameras positioned across the route, anchored in the city centre, and onboard the team bus itself. There will be live interviews with head coach Arne Slot and the players to hear

their reactions during the journey, plus the views of fans in attendance to enjoy the party. A number of iconic buildings are set to be lit up with LFC imagery along the way too. The ECHO

will also be providing live updates of the parade throughout the day on our website and social media pages, capturing the amazing scenes and speaking to fans on the route. The route is 15km

long and the advice is to use the length of the route. There are no dedicated viewing areas but there will be animation across the route this year. A council spokesperson said: "We are

not able to provide specific accessible viewing areas, but have made it a long route to allow as many people as possible to watch it. "We recommend those uncomfortable in large crowds

choose a quieter location along the route which is away from major landmarks, or choose a wider street where there is more space to move around." People are strongly advised to stay

local if they can and walk or cycle if possible. If you are using public transport, please check the latest timetables and allow more time.
